Make your own: Christmas Stockings

Over two relaxed hours, you’ll be guided through each step of making your very own Christmas stocking, from cutting your fabric to sewing, lining and finishing. Kids and adults are welcome to join the same session, so it’s a lovely one to do together or on your own. No matter your experience level, you’ll leave with a handmade stocking ready to hang by the fire (or the tree) this Christmas.

Throughout the workshop you’ll learn how to:

• Cut fabric from a pattern
• Sew and line a Christmas stocking
• Sew smooth curves with confidence
• Add a hanging loop and finishing touches
• Build confidence using a sewing machine

You’ll take home:

• A finished Christmas stocking, ready to hang
• New sewing skills and the confidence to keep making at home

Your workshop includes:

• All fabrics and materials
• Use of sewing machines, overlockers and studio equipment
• Complimentary snacks and nibbles, enjoyed midway through the class
