In this fun and beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn how to sew your own comfortable elastic-waist shorts while adding creative details to make them one of a kind. Whether you prefer something simple or love adding personality, you'll leave with a handmade garment you'll be proud to wear.

Throughout the workshop you'll learn how to:

• Read and cut from a simple pattern
• Sew an elastic waistband
• Construct your shorts with a professional finish
• Add optional side or patch pockets
• Personalise your shorts with ruffles, appliqué or decorative patches
• Finish your garment neatly and confidently

You'll take home:

• A finished pair of handmade elasticated shorts
• New sewing skills and the confidence to continue making at home
